about me

my name is matt mitchell i am a senior at indianola high school. i try and stay away from this stuff but oh well. any quarks about me are not very special. when i was young i started playing baseball and i played untill i was a sophmore but i just didnt like it anymore. i wasplaying on a tournament team for most of those years, we were the best team for our age. i started to catch and i was good, but catching for all those years damn near every game we played. my sophmore year i got fucked over and really wasnt going to spend that much time doing something i dont like doing and always hurting. then for the sport i love and wish i could still play, football. i started when i was in fourth grade on the fourtyniners. i was the tailback and nick lane was my full back, we tore shit up and it was our goal to hit kids so hard to make 3 people cry a game. most of the time we did. in high school i was the only sophomore playing varsity that year untill i got hurt, but football is a violent game so its understandable. my jr year i lettered and recieved honorable mention as a starting free safty and tail back. my sr year was by far the best year i ever had, not by stats but just by how we played and the fact that i got named team captin. this year i really got hurt alot, dislocated both my shoulders and got the rest of my body beat to hell. in our fourth game i dislocated my shoulder and tore my rotator cuff which still needs fixed. i had to sit out a week and do pt and wait for a brace to come in, what do you know it was homecoming. so i missed my homecoming game but the team kicked some major ass which was great. on our sr night game against licoln in the first quarter i dislocated my right but not bad enough for me to come out so i played the rest of the game hurting like hell but it could have been the last game of my life so i wasnt coming out.i couldnt lift my arm when the game was done and i got showered up and went to the trainer and he popped it back in after 3 hours of it being out. the next day he said he was actually freaking out inside but to me he seemed alright. i had erned first team all conference and offensive mvp along with cody smith. i have also been shooting trap for 3 years and hopefully will in college.
